Chris Kelly is a painter and graphic designer working in Cape Cod, MA. His work is a combination of abstract, pop, realism, and expressionism using principles found in graphic art, printmaking, and painting. Kelly works in series, which allows him to fully expand on one idea. His abstract paintings are known for their use of vivid color, hard-edged graphics, and linear expression. Elements of shape, color, time, place, and cultural reference are used throughout this series of work. His Dune Patrol paintings capture memories in time found on the Outer Cape’s beach landscape. They are reminders of the sweet moments found in this magical place.
